Oral care is incredibly important to me because it goes beyond just a bright smile; it’s about overall health. Daily flossing is essential, but the toothpaste we choose plays a crucial role, too. Many toothpastes in the U.S. contain TITANIUM DIOXIDE, an ingredient banned in Europe due to potential health concerns, including links to cancer and organ toxicity. After trying various brands, I’ve discovered that using toothpaste without this harmful ingredient not only feels safer but also supports my long-term health. Choosing the right products matters, and I’m committed to making informed choices for my oral care routine.

My top 3 tested toothpastes in the US are

  1. Dr. Bronner's Spearmint (it doesnt foam much but I liked the overall feeling

  2. Bioniq by Dr. Wolff (German brand, it's supporting the enamel and perfect for my teeth, I love this one very much)

  3. BOKA, which is probably our family's favorite and also my kids like the mild mint taste!

Anyone who loves a good loaf of bread 🍞 knows the frustration of having to throw it away because it went bad too quickly. 🗑️

I help you avoid this by freezing bread at just the right time, so you can enjoy it longer without the waste!

I freeze any leftover bread that I buy at the market or bake myself. Please don’t buy this low quality bread from mainstream supermarkets that is full of unnecessary additives and ingredients ‼️ (tip: if it has more than 4 ingredients, please don’t buy! And only buy organic to avoid pesticides)

🍞 I slice the bread with our bread slicer, (which is a must-have in our house and is a game changer when you bake your own bread!)

Then, I cut parchment paper into small pieces and place it between the slices so they don’t stick together. Put everything in a zip log bag and put it in the freezer,

This way, I can just grab a slice for freshly toasted bread every morning, or for the kids’ school lunches! It’s also perfect for a snack in between when I am working from home.

Cooking healthy to me means using mostly organic, simple ingredients and maximizing flavors, just like my grandmother did. This heartfelt dish, truffle-infused mushroom pasta, is the perfect fall recipe. I made it with truffle-infused olive oil, which adds a special touch to the pasta, though it can easily be omitted if you’re not a fan of truffle flavor. I chose GF Caponi Tagliatelle because it contains only two ingredients and no stabilizers, which are commonly found in other pasta brands (Such as mono- and diglycerides). Since they are very expansive, I only use them for ‚special occasions’ but we all know that a good GF pasta can be very hard to find. There are some other brands that I like to use for daily cooking and that can be found at regular supermarkets (Ancient harvest for example). But Caponi is probably THE BEST I have ever had, of course it's from Italy!

Please Always read the labels and ingredients—it's one of the most important things to remember when shopping in the U.S. Remember, the less ingredients, the better !
